Partners and Friends

Wells of Hope has friends and partners locally and internationally. We will try to list a few of the organizations and friends that are working in collaboration with us or support us in different ways:  Each of them is unique in the level of collaboration or support they give to Wells of Hope. The listing below is not exhaustive.

Education Justice Project EJP of the University of Illinois at Urbana Champagne is a vibrant academic community of students, educators, and others who are committed to expanding higher education within American prisons as a matter of justice. Their mission is to demonstrate the positive impacts of college-in-prison programs. In pursuit of that mission, EJP organizes educational programming at Danville Correctional Center through the University of Illinois. In addition, EJP members also produce critical scholarship about prison education, as well as creative works.

Breaking Chains International INC ( BCI ) is partnering with Wells of Hope to support the work in Kenya and Tanzania to bring The Hope to Children of the incarcerated, the prisoners, and their families.
BCI through Mama Teresa Kemp was instrumental in raising funds for Wells of Hope Ministries in Uganda to acquire its land where Wells of Hope Junior School is located.
