Equipping Mothers and Grandmothers With Entrepreneurship Skills

We train mothers and grandmothers of children with parents in prison to be job creators.

The women decided to form a Savings And Credit Co-operative Society (SACCO) where each woman would save 2000 shillings weekly. The SACCO is called Hope Women Wakaliga SACCO.
Objectives
- To equip the women with business skills so that they can sustain their families.
- To equip the women with saving skills.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
Through the loan scheme, mothers and grandmothers have boosted their businesses and have been able to sustain their families back at home.
