These two girls,Christine and
Scovia (besides their caretaker, who is a matron of an orphanage)They
had never seen their father, here they stand outside Jinja
Prison, the day they met their father for the first time in
their lives. He is behind bars (on death row). |

This expectant mother (has since
given birth) with her children before they were evicted. Their
father was in prison and living with HIV/AIDS. He was released
two months ago but is jobless; they live in the village deeper
than where they were with their grandmother. It was the grandmother
who helped this woman give birth with no use of gloves, we
fear the grandmother could have contracted HIV/AIDS as a result. |
